Happy Birthday Reagan!
Reagan turned 4 yesterday!
She had the best day... We woke her up early to open presents before Steve had to head to work. She LOVED it! Balloons covered the floor and presents were stacked on the bed. We sang to her and she squinted and grinned. Such a fun tradition!
She had school so I sent her with a bag full of goodies for her class and she came home with a birthday crown and a gift from her teachers. When I dropped her off at school she saw the other kids going in and she asked me if they were all coming to her birthday party! Classic. I just laughed and told her that yes, of course they were.
After school we drove downtown and met Steve for lunch. (quick side note - Reagan told us the night before her birthday that she was going to get panda pajamas for her birthday. This was news to both Steve and I. We hoped that she would forget that thought when she saw the presents we actually got her. Unfortunately, before each gift that she opened she asked if that was going to be her jammies. Although I think she loved all her gifts, none of them were her jammies. We somehow missed that one.) So Steve had a surprise gift for her at lunch... Jammies! She was thrilled and had to show our waiter. Thank heavens he was so nice and acted like that was the coolest thing ever. He even brought her an ice cream sundae with a candle after we had eaten. She was so excited!
Even though it was her birthday we still had to take naps. Poor Reagan. It was a short one though, because I had a photo session downtown and Steve was going to watch the kids while I took pictures. He took them on Trax, something they had been asking to do for some time and they had a great time! All Reagan could talk about was that she got to see the Temple. I wish I could have been with them.
After pics, it was off to dinner with Grammy. Grammy completely spoiled her... a gift in the morning and one at dinner. She was so very excited. Loved them both. We went by Grandma and Papa D's house after dinner and they had a special surprise for her as well. I wish I were Reagan on her birthday! The fun really didn't stop. Such a lucky little girl.

Here are some fun things about Reagan...
Reagan is a drama queen. She loves to put on a show. She can tell stories like a pro. I have no idea where she gets the ideas for her stories, but they are very imaginative, and they are very real to her. She can switch gears from being a princess to being Reagan in a matter of seconds and you had better keep up with which she is or you are in trouble.
Reagan is very kind and super social. She wants everyone to be involved in everything she is doing. She is generally the boss (something we are trying to work on) and likes to run the show. She loves anything to do with Princesses and loves to dress up. She is always happy when she can play with a friend or go to dance.
Reagan LOVES her grandmas and papas, all her aunts and uncles and especially her cousins. Mostly she just loves to be surrounded by people. She loves to go to church and to primary. She loves to sing her church songs.
Reagan is a blessing in our home. She brings light and joy into our day! We love her so much and can't imagine our life without her. Love you Reagan!

Love that picture... and so glad she had a fun day! I think she learned her story telling skills from her mother!
Tell Reagan "Happy Birthday" from us. Boy, what a fun-filled day she had. Made me tired just hearing about all the things she did. I'd need a nap too. You two are awesome parents!
Happy Birthday, Reagan!! Sounds like such a great day!
