Jackson Hole & Yellowstone National Park

The Henrie family just got home from a great trip to Jackson Hole and Yellowstone National Park. We had such a great time! Thanks to mom for planning such a fun trip and thanks to Steve for coming up with the idea. We had such a great time, I think I'm ready to start planning the next one! The whole fam in Jackson Hole.

Crew spent a lot of time in this carrier and sleeping.
Reagan spent a lot of time in her car seat, but not sleeping quite as much as I would have liked. But I must say she was a champ.

Jenny Lake

We drove out to Jenny Lake and walked down to the water. It is absolutely breathtaking.

We took a boat out on Jenny Lake. I think that was one of Reagan's favorite things that we did... Probably mine too. This lake is absolutely beautiful. It was clear and calm. You could see all of its surroundings reflecting in the water. It was gorgeous.

Bar - T - Five

On our last night we went on a wagon ride up the mountain and had a dutch oven dinner that was delicious and were entertained by a cowboy band. It was a ton of fun. Reagan was mesmerized by the horses and wagons. She put on a great show dancing to the music of the band. And Crew zonked in his little carrier backpack. It was a good time had by all! This is our wagon train. We were at the end.

My dad was called up to participate in a rendition of "She'll Be Comin' Round the Mountain". He was the last one. His verse went "She'll be bunking with Uncle Jed when she comes... (snore, snore)..." and I must say my dad can give one heck of a snore!

Good Times

So I really have been slacking on the postings this month so I am making up for lost time. One of Reagan's favorite things to do is pretend to be asleep. She will just lay back where ever she is and close her eyes. She thinks this is a great trick and that we all think she has gone to sleep. She also thinks that if she is going to go to sleep we all should as well. So she will push your head down and tell you to sleep. It is a great little game she has created. Steve got some pictures of a particularly funny moment she was playing this game with me. She had me laying on her lap and she was trying to cuddle me to help me go to sleep. Reagan is laying me down on her lap.

Wheeler Farm

We finally made it to Wheeler Farm and we are glad we did. Reagan loved it! She loves pretty much everything that is animals. We have started a little play group every 2nd and 4th Tuesday of the month and it has been a lot of fun. If anyone wants in, just let me know. The more, the merrier! This is Reagan, Corbin, and Kaden. It was a little easier feeding the ducks over the fence cause the ones on the outside of the fence were getting a little impatient and we were worried they might attack.

Reagan at the Lake

We went up to the Lake again a few weeks ago and had a great time. Reagan loves it up there and thinks she can do anything. And if she has her dad with her she probably can.

As some of you may know I love tall grass. This is behind the house and Reagan was a little nervous, but she looks great! I wish I were her size standing in that tall grass!

Bath Time

Here are some fun pictures of Crew taking a bath. Why is it that kids are the happiest when they are naked? I just don't get it, but I sure do love it!

Ladies Dinner Ladies

Over the past three years or so I have been lucky to participate in a "Ladies Dinner" with a group of girlfriends from High School. Josie, Anya, Lindsay, Annie, Jessica and I have continued our friendship and had the best time at these monthly get togethers. I can't tell you how much I love these women! I look up to each of them as they have all done amazing things with their lives and I feel privileged to get to spend time with them! This month was a special dinner as we had a lot to celebrate. Anya had a birthday, Jessica was in town and inches away from being half-way through her schooling and on her way to making major bucks, Lindsay just had her little girl, and Annie is finally moving to Colorado to live with her husband! Like I said, it was a big dinner! Josie had a fabulous spread for us and we loved being at her house! Thanks Jo!
