The Par-tay!

Is this kid a sweetheart or what? I love his face.

He always looks so innocent, although that is rarely the case.

This is the face that usually describes what he is up to...

Scheming and full of mischief.

I must say, I love both faces and will hapily take either one any day of the week. He is just one great kid, whether he is causing trouble or giving hugs. I just love him.

We had family over to give Crew a real celebration for his birthday. After we got home from the hospital and things had settled down a bit I finally felt like we could have people over to the house. And by people, I mean family because I knew they would be forgiving of the little messes or clutter bunches that lay throughout my house. I knew they would love me even though I haven't completely bounced back to normalcy with baby #3. I knew they would smile and say how great I looked and what a great little family we have. I need to hear that sometimes.

The party was a hit and totally fun. Crew was in heaven. I say that a lot, but he is a lot. He gets a kick out of simple things and that makes my job really easy. He loved playing with his cousins and with all of the balloons that were throughout the house. He especially loved singing happy birthday with everyone to himself - which he did, it was the cutest thing! He really sang his heart out, I wish I had a video of it! We had cake, cupcakes and ice cream. We opened presents and visited like we hadn't just seen each other a week ago. It was really nice. Crew got spoiled, as usual, and I was sad to see everyone go. I love having everyone together, even if it takes a lot of work it's worth it. I just love being with them.

Here are some pictures of the fun night...

I think we can officially say that Crew was not forgotten and that his birthday was celebrated, and celebrated well. It was a ton of fun and I can't wait for the next excuse to PAR-TAY!
