This one took me a while to post as well, but it doesn't seem that anyone minds so I'm not going to apologize. Life is moving and I am loving it. The weather is shining on us and we are enjoying it, or at least trying to!
Cachie is another hard one to catch a picture of. He is always on the move. Climbing, running, jumping, riding. He rarely stops. Especially for me. But he is so happy. So I let him go. We tried to do the group pictures before the individual ones and he was the worst to get to sit still. He would not sit. He wanted to stand. Period. And not just stand, but walk around. See everything that he could and try to touch it too. So once we were finished with the group pictures he ran out of the room and hence was the last for me to try to get some individual pictures of. Really, I wasn't surprised, but a little frustrated to be honest.
I stuck a chair out there hoping that would make the sitting a little more fun. This is all I could get for quite some time. Pictures like this...
Such a stinker. After lots of prodding and singing "Popcorn Popping on the Apricot Tree" he sat and smiled and clapped a bit. I got a bunch like this that I love...
And of course I needed a picture of his to-die-for curly hair...
The idea was if I could keep him sitting then I had a better chance of better pictures. It worked. At least for a minute. Then he was up again and done with the singing. He wanted out of the chair and onto his feet. So I threw in the frog. It was worked so well in the past and I hoped it would charm the toad. This is all I got...
Not so sure of the frog. So I handed the camera to my mom and got in there with him. It's hard to be the mom taking the pictures and the mom trying to help your child behave for the pictures. As hard as I try, I just can't do both. So my mom braved my boulder of a camera and I got into the pictures. He was having so much fun, but still wasn't the greatest cooperator...
My mom had an idea that if he had a treat he might be a bit easier to work with so she ran upstairs to get a sucker. In the meantime I went through all of my props trying to figure out what I could use to get him to look at me and smile. I found the perfect thing... bubbles! Hello! So we stuck him in a little blue tub, gave him a sucker and started blowing bubbles. He was mesmerized! Loved the bubbles! Who wouldn't? So I got a bunch of fun ones that I had a very hard time narrowing down. So I am sharing a lot with you today. I hope you enjoy!
Love the pucker in this one...
My Sweetheart...
I love this kid. I just can't get enough of him. He is funny and happy. He is just so lovable. He is Reagan's little baby/student/pet/whatever she may be pretending and need at the moment. He is Crew's right hand man and wrestling partner. The kid has had more bumps and bruises than I ever imagined could be possible for someone his age and still keeps on smiling. He loves to sing and dance. He always wants to have a ball in his hands and play catch. He thinks he is as big as his brother and can do all the things Crew can do as well. Not to his advantage, unfortunately. I can't imagine our family without him. Cache is my little angel, and I am so happy he is mine!
