This Easter was a ton of fun. It was our turn to be with the Diederich's so we all went up to the Lake and it was a blast. Reagan got lucky and was invited to go up with her aunt Heidi on Friday morning. This was a bonus for her because Steve and I weren't going until that night and that would give her an extra day to play at Bear Lake with her cousins. It was a bonus for me because I had a whole day to get things done while only having to watch after 1 immobile child. It was a great day!
On Saturday we played hard all day and then we colored Easter eggs. Here are some pictures of the fun...
On Saturday night I woke up at about 2 in the morning to an awful stomach ache. I ran to the bathroom where I stayed for most of the night as I emptied my stomach. It wasn't pretty. I was a victim of food poisoning. Vicious illness that I would recommend avoiding at all cost. This nasty thing left me feeling pretty crappy most of Sunday so I didn't get to enjoy the fun Easter festivities. Steve was a champ and got the kids ready for church, took them, and then did the Easter egg hunt. He did all of this and took pictures while I was sick in bed. Thank you, Baba, for being so good to me!
Then Reagan & Crew woke up on Sunday morning to the cutest Easter baskets from the Easter Bunny (Grammy).
So that was our Easter. It was pretty good (minus the yucky tummy thing).
On Wednesday, as most of you know, it snowed all day. Now, don't get me wrong I am as ready for the nice weather to come as the next person. But it was BEAUTIFUL outside my window! We have 3 cherry blossom trees that line up in front of our house and they have blossomed. They are one of my favorite things about my house. Well, when it snowed they looked so awesome! I can't even describe it. I was sitting there looking out my window at the beauty that was out there thinking that sometimes I feel like those cherry blossom trees. Right when I feel like I am in a great possition and things are going well for me, it snows. Or in other words something comes and shakes things up. Makes me work a little harder to get back to that great possition. I seriously sat there and stared out the window for about an hour until it hit me that I should grab my camera and take a picture! So here are my beautiful trees in front of my house. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do...
Also, last week, my great friend Erin was in town again. I have mentioned her before, she's kind of a regular in my life. Here is a picture of our dinner. We went with Jessica and Janelle my roommates up at Utah State. It was so great to see you girls! We need to do it more!
And here is Erin. Isn't she gorgeous?
Well, that's all I've got today. I hope I haven't worn you out with all of my ramblings and millions of pictures. I will try to keep the number of pics down in the future!
