Although we had talked about things we might do to our kitchen, it was very far down on our list of things we want to do to the house. But I am proving to be quite an impatient person and wanted to see something done and this was something I could do myself, so I went for it. I promised Steve that this would be my project and he wouldn't have to worry about a thing. Of course that turned out to be totally false because they never would have gotten done without him!
I thought I would share with you some photos of the process and the after shot. I LOVE THEM!!! They are such an improvement over the old ones! I think I even gave Steve the bug so we can do our kitchen floors next! (I don't know if you can see them in the picture, but we have a very outdated linolium). Yeah for home improvement!

I do sometimes dream of having a brand new home with everything just the way I want it. Everything top of the line and each morning when I wake up it looks like we just moved in... but everytime we finish a project I am glad we don't have it all. At least not yet. I love learning how to do things, working to make something better, and seeing the end result. It feels great. Plus, I would get bored without these great projects, right? So, what can I start next???

It looks great guys! I remember when we did our kitchen cabinets... it makes such a big difference! I love, love the black. Timeless... classic.

Oh, and I almost forgot. Can we set up a time for you to do Eme's pictures for me?? You do an awesome job girl!
wow that looks so good! I love the shiny black! What's the plan for the floors?
I love them! I did the same thing to Jenn's when we lived in their basement apartment. Don't you love when you first wake up, you just want to look at them and know YOU created that look. I love that!
I love how they look! I want to do something like that to our kitchen cabinets, the problem is trying to convince Brian to do it!
What a great improvement! I always start projects that Steve has to finish, that is what keeps our husbands on their toes, right? They like it! You have inspired us all with home improvement projects to get going!
The cabinets look great!! We need to come over and see them sometime!
Your cabinets turned out so cute. I also love the satisfaction of finishing a project!
